Homemade hazelnut chocolate

Ingredients

per 1 serving

  • ½ cup cocoa powder (60 g)
  • ½ cup coconut oil (120 ml)
  • ¼ icing sugar (50 g)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup grated coconut (25 g)
  • ¼ cup whole almonds (30 g), coarsely chopped
  • ¼ cup walnuts (30 g)

Homemade hazelnut chocolate

Preparation

  1. Line the tin (approx. 22 x 10 cm) with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, salt, sugar, vanilla, and melted coconut oil until well integrated.
  3. Stir in the shredded coconut, pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and smooth evenly using a pastry bag.
  4. Sprinkle chopped almonds and walnuts evenly over the chocolate mixture.
  5. Place the pan in the freezer to firm up for about 30 minutes.
  6. Cut the chocolate bar into desired pieces and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep it fresh and prevent it from melting.
